Living with Asthma

Asthma is a long term disease that affects children as well as adults. It can be described as inflammation of the bronchial tubes with increased production of sticky secretions inside the tubes. Living with Asthma can be tough but with the right care and medication you can control it. It’s very important to consult with your Doctor and receive a proper diagnosis.

Asthma medicine can affect different people differently. As well performing the right test on a patient and becoming aware of the asthma triggers to avoid is very important. Asthma attacks can be triggered by dust, smoke, insects, and common diseases like the flu. Doing a breathing test, called spirometry will help you find out how well your lungs are working by testing how much air you can breathe out after taking a very deep breath before and after you use asthma medicine.
