- If the bite rash remains for more than a few days or weeks.
- The rash is larger than 2 inches and circular in shape, it may continue to grow if untreated, often resembles a bullseye (Erythema migrans) is one of the hallmarks of Lyme disease
- A rash may appear in more than one place in the body
- Fatigue, fever, body chills, body aches, headache, stiffness and swollen lymph nodes can accompany the rash.
